Actress Asami promotes Japanese 'Roman Holyday' drama TOKYO
Actress Hikaru Asami and actor Eisaku Yoshida on friday promotedthe upcoming opening of the japanese play " Roman Holiday ," based on the popular 1953 U.S. film that launched Audrey Hepburn on the road to stardom.
Asami, a former top star of the renowned Takarazuka Reveu who plays Princess Ann, " Audrey is an actress I have adored since my childhood," while Yoshida, who plays news reporter Joe Bradley, said, " I'm excited. I can't wait to start rehearsals. " The play will run at the Galaxy theatre in tokyo from April 27 to May 9 and at the Umeda Arts Theater in Osaka from May 12 to May 16
