Tokyo police have arrested 38-year-old singer and actress Noriko Sakai on drug 
possession charges after she turned herself in at a Tokyo police facility on Saturday evening. Sakai had been missing since Monday, when her husband, self-described professional surfer Yuichi Takaso, had also been arrested for alleged possession of illegal stimulants. The police issued a warrant for Sakai's arrest on Friday after they reportedly found stimulants and a straw used to inhale the drugs at her residence. Police investigators allege that Sakai was a regular user after saying that they discovered traces of Sakai's DNA in the saliva on the straw.
